The Board comprises of ten Directors. The Directors are mainly farmers supplemented with Directors with specialist skills such as accounts and IT. The Board meets on a regular basis to work with the management team their key objective is to deliver all the initiatives and strategies which benefit the co-operative.

Management Team

The Management Team is comprised of a number of highly experienced field staff.

Tim Leigh (Managing Director)

Tim looks after finished and store cattle marketing requirements of AQM members. He also arranges the supply and purchase farm to farm of all classes of store and breeding stock including quality reared calves. In Addition to his Managing Director duties for AQM, he is also responsible for the Marketing Contract with The Organic Livestock Marketing Co Operative.

Richard Doel (Business Manager Pigs)

Richard has worked within the UK livestock industry for over 30-years and offers producers many years of experience and knowledge of the UK pig industry. As well as all finished pig marketing, he also handles all store pig requirements, cull stock and breeding stock sales.

James Doel (Livestock Communication and Development Manager) 

James brings to AQM his experience of work within the technology industry, which allows him to assist farmers in the transition and implementation of technology in to their business.

Administration Team

The AQM office staff ensure that the Producer, Processor and Haulier business processes run smoothly. Computer systems and skilled IT staff ensures the swift and accurate collection and processing of electronic data, from Processor through to Producer Payment Certificates, Grading Analysis and Accounts.

Our Accounts and Administration department is available 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday.
